TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WORKSHOP PAYMENTS
All workshop fees are due at the time of booking to confirm your place in the workshop. Once payment has been received you will receive email confirmation of your booking.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
No refunds will be given within 30 day or less from the date that the workshop is schedule to run. However, you are welcome to sell or gift your place on the workshop to someone else.
Please note that Paypal only offers a full refund with 60 days of purchase. Outside of that period Paypal fees are incurred, and I would only be able to refund the workshop fees minus any Paypal fees.
No refunds will be given for workshops that have been announced as being fully booked. Once a workshop is announced as being fully booked, it prevents others from booking a spot on the workshop. Again, you are welcome to sell or gift your place on the workshop to someone else.
The Complete Pixel reserves the right to cancel or alter any workshop. Should an alteration or cancelation become required you will have the option of accepting the alterations, taking an alternate workshop (and if this is at a lower price, we will refund the difference) or withdrawing from the workshop and accepting a full refund of all monies received by The Complete Pixel.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE & AGENDA
The types of workshops offered by The Complete Pixel requires an element of flexibility and as such you must allow for alterations to our program. For this reason, the outline and descriptions of our workshops must be taken as an indication of what is planned to take place on the workshop, and not as a contractual obligation on part of The Complete Pixel. All workshops are subject to change at our description based on weather, heath and safety consideration and any additional factors we may deem necessary.
GIFT VOUCHER – CONDITIONS OF USE
Gift vouchers for The Complete Pixel Workshops are to be redeemed only for workshops offered solely by The Complete Pixel’s website. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for photography tours or photography workshops and classes offered by other photographers and on-sold via this website.
Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash or payment credit, nor are refunds available if you are unable to use a gift voucher. Gift vouchers may be transferred to another person but you will need to inform The Complete Pixel of the transfer in writing prior to the expiry date of the voucher.
Gift vouchers may be used as part or full payment for a workshop or course on offer. Vouchers may be used against multiple workshops/courses if the amount on the voucher allows this. If workshop or course fees are more than the amount on the voucher, then the bearer of the voucher must pay the difference.
All workshop bookings made using a gift voucher must be made before the gift voucher expiry date.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY
The Complete Pixel accept no liability for death, illness or injury or loss or damage to photo equipment or personal belongings during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto.
We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will provide a full refund, which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement. In the event of a workshop cancellation by The Complete Pixel, liability of The Complete Pixel to participants shall be limited to the total value of the workshop. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
By joining any workshops offered by The Complete Pixel, participants acknowledge that they are aware of risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release The Complete Pixel, Brian Bird, guest presenters, workshop assistants and models from any liability. The Complete Pixel, Brian Bird, guest presenters, workshop assistants and models will assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.
MEDIA RELEASE
By attending our workshops, you are agreeing to a media release to allow any images taken of you participating in the workshop to be used to promote The Complete Pixel workshops or for any other media purpose (excluding pornographic, defamatory, libellous or otherwise unlawful use) which may include other things, advertising, marketing and packages for any product or service. You may opt out of this term at the beginning of any workshop. The instructor will ask if anyone objects to being photographed at the start of the course.
YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In reserving a place on the workshop by paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions.
